A note about MRFs and Transparency in Coverage
MRFs have become a requirement under recent legislation with a goal to improve price transparency for consumers. They’re intended for researchers, regulators, and other vendors so they can analyze data and create user-facing applications. Kentucky Health Administrators is in the process of offering a user-friendly pricing tool in addition to these MRFs as directed by the Transparency in Coverage Rule, so check back here as the year progresses.
